Murphy’s Law is an adage or epigram that is typically stated as: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. (Source: Google)
So today I decided to wash my hair “Natural Hair Wash Day”! First of all, I don’t know why most naturalistas out there exaggerate #WashDay.. I mean really, it doesn’t take a whole day to get your hair washed.. What are you putting on the hair tho??
Anyways, here’s my #WashDay routine and it’s pretty simple too.. So here’s how mine went down:
Prepping Hair for Wash: My aunt and I soak our hair with Shea butter and Coconut oil and cover it up with the shower cap the night before till the next morning. Make big braids after oiling.
Products: Today I’ve used Shea Moisture products for my hair.. Its one of the best natural hair products.
Products during Wash: After washing with my shampoo and conditioner, I used my deep treatment mask together with my doo gro hot oil treatment and left it in for…. I don’t remember how long! Lol
It was indeed a sight and taste to behold until Murphy’s Law decided to mess with me!! #DeepBreath
So, first my juice pours on the side of my laptop and as I tried cleaning that up, the glass cup cracks and cuts the back of my hand real deep.. SO MUCH BLOOD :'(:'( but I didn’t even have it in me to Cry because I was busy trying to save my laptop… My charging spot was full of juice and all I could do was pray silently to my Father to help me… I wasn’t even upset, I couldn’t even speak, I was weak and all I could do was ask my Father what the lesson He was trying to teach me is.
10mins later, my hand is still gushing out so much blood, thick blood and it refused to stop until I squeezed some lemon juice on it.
Finally got back to my food.. Then continued with #WashDay thinking to myself that nothing worse could happen today! Lol
After Wash Products: After washing I added my Curl and Style Milk together with my Curl Enhancing Smoothie and I detangled with both products in my hair.. There wasn’t much to detangle because I wash my hair in big braids to reduce frizzing and breakage!
After that, I used the Curling Gel Soufflé to make my Bantu Knots which I will unravel tomorrow 🙂
