Hey guys.. Boy Oh Boy!!!!! Its been almost 3months since my last post on the blog. Life happened, it happens everyday and sometimes we just want to hide and deal with it silently. That’s really all I’ve been up to.
So who’s excited that 2016 is coming to an end??? I certainly am, 2016 has been the most confusing year for me. I knew I was coming back to Nigeria to attend law school but that decision came with so much drama and I barely survived. But then again, GOD equips us for the journey although there were times I felt alone but HIS hands were still on my life. There is so much to be thankful for as we prepare to say hello to 2017.
What are you most thankful for in 2016? Are there things you wish you did differently? Most importantly, did you grow in 2016? Now is a good time to reflect on the process.
So, here’s a confession I have.. I added so much weight without realizing it. And then coming to Lagos for my Christmas break, my family won’t shut up about it.. Its not easy for everyone to admit it but my confidence has been in the garbage for a few weeks now and as part of my growth in 2017, I am slowly trying to rebuild it. Now, not because of what people are saying, I am doing it for me Click To Tweet
Law school is going great so far.. Its a lot of reading but am pushing it really hard. By God’s grace I will be done in September 2017 so that’s something to look forward to.
One of the things I wanted to do before the year ended was to make new friends. So, here’s a shout out to all the new friends I made in 2016, you guys were in my plans from the onset.. Feels good right?? And a special shout out to my number one #FitFam flag bearer who was kind enough to take these pictures of me. Thank you, Mr. Femi Smith 😄😄
Let me know what your plans are for 2017. I personally don’t have any, I plan on going with the flow but certainly with God’s guidance.
